Glasgow with PrideSoc

And the AGM!

Hello, hello, hello! We're a little late, but here to announce our next stop is the grand city of...

GLASGOW

This Saturday the 28th of March!

This trip is in collaboration with the prestigious PrideSoc! They will be walking the Stride with Pride, a lovely heritage trail highlighting some of the people and places associated with Glasgow's LGBTQ history, researched by the Glasgow Women's Library.

Alongside that of course there are all of Glasgow's regular attractions: The free transport museum! The saved-from-fire Glasgow Central! Some of us may go to Model Rail Scotland 2026 (£18) to see small trains too.

We will be meeting at Edinburgh Waverley at 10:30, tickets will cost £11.15 with a railcard and £16.80 without. No need for an advance this time, you can buy them in the station if you wish!

AGM Reminder

If you didn't catch our announcement, we are holding our Annual General Meeting on Thursday the 2nd of April, 19:00 in the Braid Room, Pleasance.

If you enjoy our events, we'd really appreciate if you took the time to turn up and help us vote in our new committee, you can have a say in how the society is run in the future and as a bonus the society won't collapse because we didn't hit quorum!

Click Here for many more details, including forms for nominating yourself for a committee position or suggesting an amendment to our constitution!

This is by no means our last trip this year, we have Restoniversary at the end of May, and perhaps another coming before then, so don't fret!

And model railway sessions are back on Wednesdays at 19:00 in Pleasance (contact us for where, we don't know!) - no more Thursdaysss

We will leave you then with this newsletter's train of the month:

A whimsical double-Fairlie from the Ffestiniog Railway hauling this incredible observation coach at dusk...

Thank you to our friend @edgarleung13 for taking this photo!

Have a wonderful week all,
